The Lagos FA Scores Big - Lands 3-Year Broadcast Rights Deal With Cloud Sports For The Lagos FA Cup

  Today - the 13th of February, 2026 - is a big day for the Lagos State Football Association : they've just signed the papers on a deal with Cloud Sports Limited that's set to take their broadcast rights to the next level. According to a statement released from the LSFA and put their weight behind by Chairman Hajji Gafar Liameed, this three year partnership - which is reportedly worth a tidy ₦100 million - is a bold move to give the Lagos FA Cup a much needed boost. By getting this sort of exposure, the plan is to increase visibility for the competition, and bring in some much needed cash and opportunities for the clubs, the players and the wider football community in Lagos to cash in on. The thing is - this deal isn't just about paying out a handful of cash.
